Hi, I'm Jayden. I'm from China, and I'm glad to meet you here.
I'm currently a structural biology PhD student, and I spend most of my time working with proteins, cells, cryo-EM, and all kinds of experimental data.
Outside of research, tinkering with computers is one of my greatest joys.
Strictly speaking, I've never had formal computer science training, but over the years I've gone from installing OSes and setting up servers, NAS, and virtualization, to websites, front-end, Linux, and Docker, and now writing code with the help of AI — I basically learn whatever I need as problems come up.
So the content here is a bit all over the place — with this many interests, I'm basically the king of the misc section.
So self-learning is probably the skill I'm best at — and the one I rely on the most.
Doodoo
Doodoo is a West African Mud Turtle.
It can live for a very long time — ideally, it could even stay by a person's side for decades.
I hope Doodoo will be around to witness my academic career.
And I hope that many years from now, when I come back to read these words, it's still here.
